Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: Instances of AUTC-3468 is to be monitored via GPS beacon All anomalous physiological and environmental readings must be documented in Addendum 3468 - Event Log
Description: AUTC-3468 refers to a 40km section through Pureora Forest notable for large increases in elevation, frequent navigational disruptions, and reported runner’s euphoria phenomena. Trail visibility is significantly impaired throughout most of the route due to inconsistent signage, overgrowth, and poorly maintained path infrastructure. Operatives report occasional reliance on GPS, with multiple bush traversal instances required.
Addendum 3468 - Event Logs
AUTC-TRIP-3468 was carried out to investigate the conditions of AUTC-3468 on site.
The subject group is subdivided into two operational units:
MTF-Rho: Responsible for reconnaissance of trail conditions and first-line data collection
Personnel: Danyon Wang, Micah Miner, Will Griffiths
CSU-Sigma: Tasked with resupply, transport. and field communications
Personnel: Emily Steiner, Miles Nicolson, Mia Edwards, Nick Dawson
Log Entry 01 (Day 1 - 25/04/██25)
13:00
MTF-Rho and CSU-Sigma initiate egress from UoA Clocktower, duesouth via SH1.
14:20
All personal executed acquisition of victual procurements at PAK'nSAVE Hamilton.
16:45Both teams establish Camp Alpha at Little Waipa Reserve and deploy tent.
17:10
MTF-Rho-WG and CSU-Sigma-MN conduct a sweep of the Waikato River.
18:00
Field rations ingested under CSU-Sigma oversight. Hydration and electrolyte metrics within operational norms ahead of Day 2 objectives.
19:00
All personnel engage in recreational card-based cohesion drills. CSU-Sigma-MN flatulates onto MTF-Rho-DW’s sleeping bag.
20:00
All personnel transitioned to sleep protocol, alarms set to 06:00.
Log Entry 02 (Day 2 - 26/04/██25)
06:00
MTF-Rho units and CSU-Sigma-ME conduct wake protocol.
06:30
MTF-Rho and CSU-Sigma-ME leave Camp Alpha egress point for southbound transit toward AUTC-3468 AO.
07:45
CSU-Sigma-ME executes precision drop of MTF-Rho at AO ingress.

07:50
Final gear diagnostics completed: hydration systems, wearable vitals monitors, and running vests all within operational tolerances.
07:52
MTF-Rho departed AO ingress at designated run pace, eastbound. Continuous data logging initiated.
09:17
MTF-Rho-DW reported a mild cramp in the left vastus medialis. MTF-Rho-WG deployed his █████; crew ingested supplemental protein-fat matrix.
09:53
Team reached highest timber-trail elevation (971m) ; tactical photographic survey completed and geo-tagged.

11:43
Encountered anomalous blue fungus specimen at forest floor coordinates.

11:53 → Unknown
Dense undergrowth impeded progress; unplanned off-trail egress.
12:49
Reached peak elevation (1058 m); ambient acoustic readings measured via cochlear organ registered near-absolute stillness.
13:22
Arrived at Bog Inn Hut; rest and sustenance protocols executed. Hydration systems refilled via gravity-fed rainwater system.
14:42
Discovered unmarked campfire site with adjacent human fecal matter. MTF-Rho-WG performed temporarily exited trail corridor for personal excretion.
████
MTF-Rho-WG again produced long stick of █████; team conducted secondary nutrition-hydration stop. MTF-Rho-DW conducted targeted stretching of the left vastus medialis as cramping prophylaxis.

15:14-15:31
Descended into valley, forded minor stream (width ~20 m), observed Hymenolaimus malacorhynchos specimens (colloquially “blue duck”) from a safe distance. Egress ascension completed; route continuity nominal.
16:09
MTF-Rho concludes run and arrives at Waihaha Hut.
16:10
CSU-Sigma confirmed to have established a forward operations post outside AUTC-3468 perimeter due to persistent comms blackout. Awaited MTF-Rho arrival on visual confirmation protocol.
17:25
Culinary protocol initiated: glizzy and gluten-free macronutrient pasta solution deployed using sub-optimal (lukewarm) water input.
17:37
Glizzy components consolidated into macronutrient base. Viscosity and texture deemed non-compliant with expectations.
17:39
Operation “Pasta Disaster” formally concluded.

18:45
Morale exercises commenced: card-based cohesion protocols (“Presidents” and “Mao”) executed.
21:30
Universal rest protocol initiated. All personnel offline.
Log Entry 03 (Day 3 - 27/04/██25)
07:10
Wake cycle initiated across all personnel. Biometric readings elevated for MTF-Rho.
07:40
Culinary operations conducted by MTF-Rho-WG. Pancake deployment successful; morale elevated after Pasta Disaster.
08:45
All units exfiltrated Pureora Forest AO. Environmental logging ceased.
11:02
Team reassembled post-walkout at designated rally point. Accountability confirmed.
13:15
Nutritional resupply at civilian outpost (McDonald's, Cambridge). No anomalous readings.
16:30
Full return to base. Operation AUTC-3468 officially concluded. Debrief pending.
