Group name: Studium in Auckland

Dear all,

After finding each other and meeting the German ambassador, the idea came up to create a Facebook Group which has the goal to connect German students in Auckland. Many German students who have been living and studying in Auckland for some time already mentioned the deficit of German contacts here in Auckland. This may have several reasons which most of us clearly understand. However, having a German Auckland network could carry benefits such as the underlying social support of having one another, but also could help students in Germany to find their way to Auckland in the future. The group should not be limited to students but clearly should reach out to academic staff members in Auckland and Germany and also German studying students of other nationalities.

Please feel free to join the group and suggest the group to anyone who could benefit from it.
