AUTC Intentions Form

The AUTC Intentions form is to be used for all AUTC trips. The point of this form is so that the club can keep track of all trips (and people), and contact relevant authorities (NZ Police, Search and Rescue) if a group fail to return on time. The completion of this form is compulsory for every trip. All questions regarding this should be directed to the AUTC Safety Officer - safety [at] autc [dot] org [dot] nz.

The AUTC Big Trip Checklist is a form that should be filled out for trips in which multiple parties participate (and other trips where it is deemed appropriate), by either the trip organiser or safety leader. It should be printed out and brought on the trip. Once filled in it is to be kept with the intention forms.

A safety leader is to be designated by the trip organiser before the trip begins. They must be an experienced tramper on the trip and will hold responsibility for safety on the trip.

The AUTC Big Trip Intention Form is to be printed and filled out for trips in which multiple
parties participate (and other trips where it is deemed appropriate) by the
leader of each party. It should be collected by the safety leader or another
experienced tramper prior to the party going out.
