Crazy as times in the Kaimais

It was our third week in New Zealand and our first time out tramping in the country and it provided quite the adventure. Endless rain, unmarked and overgrown tracks resulting in a period of being lost, kauri trees, glow worms, multiple river crossing by headlamp....Lucky we had a strong group of people that could work together through the long day we had. Not to mention we were greeted in the farm fields by a tramping rescue crew with warm clothes and lots of delicious snacks! Overall a great and memorable weekend in the Kaimais!
