Where would it be possible to get some snow training?

I missed out on beginners snow school during the winter break, and I'm really ruing that now that all these fun snow weekends trips are about. Is there any (realistic) way to get some training in the near term before all these trips dry up? I'd be willing to pay for an unassociated course, and thought that here is a good place to start looking.
